As I develop into my own personal style, I can see that I might need to learn to fully lean into one style before implementing any hybrid style blending and gleam what I can from professional artists techniques for more optimized designs. So I decided to pursue a fully rendered concept from Gearbox Studios (Sergi Brosa) and I have already learned so much from the questions I have debunked just by blocking out this character. Completing this project in a broken up PBR workflow really made the process much easier and cleaner.
